Partiokausi alkaa lähestyä loppua, ja pian on aika Kauka-Kuuttien jäädä lomalle. Vielä kuitenkin ehdimme näkemään koko lippukunnan voimin Kauka-Kuuttien puurojuhlassa!

Kauka-Kuuttien puurojuhla
Tervetuloa juhlistamaan Kauka-Kuuttien yhteistä kaudenpäätöstä lippukunnan Puurojuhlaan 15.12. kello 18:00–19:30. Tapahtumaan ovat tervetulleita kaikki lippukuntalaiset perheineen!
Puurojuhlassa muistelemme mennettä partiokautta, kiitämme ja palkitsemme ansioituneita kuutteja, kokeilemme kuinka hyvin Kauka-Kuutit osaavat laulaa ja nautiskelemme herkullista riisipuuroa! Puurojuhlassa voi myös antaa partiolupauksen, jos sitä ei itsenäisyyspäivänä päässyt antamaan.
Puurojuhla järjestetään Kauklahden kappelissa osoitteessa Kauppamäki 1, 02780 Espoo. Vaikka tilaisuus järjestetään kappelissa, ei tapahtuma ole ohjelmaltaan uskonnollinen ja kaikki katsomuksestaan riippumatta ovat terveitä tapahtumaan!
Puurojuhlan päätteeksi on tarjolla riisipuuroa. Tarjottava riisipuuro on laktoositonta.
Ilmoittautuminen puurojuhlaan on auki 12.12. asti. Ilmoittauduttehan tapahtumaan, jotta osaamme varata oikean määrään tarjoiltavaa.

Syysretken jälkisanat
Kiitos kaikille Iiriksen noitakattila -syysretkelle osallistuneille! Retki oli onnistunut, ja ainakin johtajien silmiin retkiläisillä vaikutti olevan retkellä hauskaa!
Kuulisimme mielellään, minkälainen retki oli retkiläisen näkökulmasta. Vastaattehan siis oheiseen lyhyeen palautekyselyyn, jotta voimme kehittää retkiämme myös tulevaisuudessa!
Retken jäljiltä on vielä ilman omistajaa harmaa kangaskassi, jossa on mustaa tekstiä ja monivärinen ranneheijastin. Jos tunnistatte jomman kumman näistä omaksi, voitte tiedustella sen perään retken johtajilta.

Kevätkausi 2026
Kauka-Kuuttien viikkokokoukset alkavat viikolla 3, eli 12.1. alkaen. Kevätkausi jatkuu aina toukokuun loppuun asti, ja viimeiset kokoukset järjestetään viikolla 21.
Väiski 2026
Kesällä 2026 Kauka-Kuutit eivät järjestä lippukunnan omaa kesäleiriä, vaan osallistumme koko lippukunnan voimin Espoon ja Granin alueen lippukuntien yhteisleirille Väiskille.
Leiri järjestetään heinäkuussa 2026 Sauvon Ahtelassa ja sinne odotetaan 2200 osallistujaa.
Väiskin leiriajat ovat
- Sudenpentujen leiriaika: 17.–20.7.2026
- Seikkailijoiden leiriaika: 16.–20.7.2026
- Pitkä leiri: 16.–23.7.2026 (tarpojat, samoajat, vaeltajat, aikuiset, perhepartio)
Väiskin ilmoittautuminen tulee nopeasti, nyt on siis oiva aika pohtia myös tulevan kesän aikatauluja.
Leirin osallistujailmoittautuminen alkaa ensi vuoden alussa 1.2.2026!

Kauka-Kuutit winter letter
The scouting season is drawing to a close, and soon it will be time for Kauka-Kuutit to head off for a break. Before that, though, we still have the chance to gather together as a whole local group at the Kauka-Kuutit end of season celebration Puurojuhla!

Kauka-Kuutit Winter Porridge Party
Welcome to celebrate Kauka-Kuutit Winter Porridge Party at the local group’s Puurojuhla on December 15 from 18:00 to 19:30. All members of the local group and their families are warmly invited!
At Puurojuhla, we will look back on the past scouting season, thank and recognize distinguished scouts, test how well Kauka-Kuutit can sing, and enjoy some delicious rice porridge! There will also be an opportunity to give the scout promise for those who were not able to do so on Independence Day.
Puurojuhla will take place at Kauklahti Chapel, at Kauppamäki 1, 02780 Espoo. Although the venue is a chapel, the event itself is not religious, and everyone is welcome regardless of their beliefs.
Rice porridge will be served at the end of the event. The porridge provided is lactose-free.
We would be delighted to see you at the celebration!
Closing words from the autumn camp
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Iiris’s Witch’s Cauldron autumn camp! The camp was a success, and from the leaders’ perspective, the participants certainly seemed to be having fun!
We would love to hear what the camp was like from the participant’s point of view. Please take a moment to answer the short feedback survey below so we can continue improving our camps in the future!
There are still a few unclaimed items left from the camp: a grey fabric tote bag with black text, and a multicoloured wrist reflector. If either of these sounds like yours, you can ask the camp leaders about them.
P.S. The photo in the message is from the evening activity at the autumn camp, where we got to play Alias in the form of shadow theatre!
Spring season 2026
Kauka-Kuutit’s weekly meetings will begin in week 3, starting on January 12. The spring season will continue until the end of May, with the final meetings taking place in week 21.
Väiski 2026
In Summer 2026 Kauka-Kuutit will not be organizing a local group summer camp of our own. Instead, we will take part in Väiski, the joint camp of scout local groups from the Espoo and Kauniainen area.
The camp will be held in July 2026 in Ahtela, Sauvo, and approximately 2,200 participants are expected.
Väiski camp dates:
- Cub Scouts: July 17–20, 2026
- Adventurers: July 16–20, 2026
- Long camp: July 16–23, 2026 (Trackers, Explorers, Rovers, adults, and family scouts)
Väiski registration is approaching quickly, so now is a great time to start thinking about next summer’s plans.
Participant registration for the camp begins early next year, on February 1, 2026!
